Success Spotlight - Roland Schools
WinkEdLearning.com has partnered with several schools around the country, and we would like to spotlight Roland Public Schools in Oklahoma. Roland PS is a PK-12 rural school district in eastern Oklahoma and is led by Superintendent Lori Wiggins and Assistant Superintendent, Angie Goode. The district implemented WinkEdLearning.com courses to create personalized plans for their staff in the 23-24 school year and have seen tremendous results this year, and with monthly coaching with Wink Educational Consulting, they have seen tremendous success in their first year with the program.

The Roland Success Story
The district began their journey with WinkEdLearning.com in September 2023 and it has been nothing short of transformative. Within the month the campus leaders rolled out online courses aligned with Wink’s Hierarchy of Instructional Excellence and their Tulsa Evaluation rubric to meet their state requirements for every teacher completing their professional development requirement, and this proved to be a game-changer for the district. Campus leaders empowered teachers by allowing them to choose courses tailored to their proficiency as well as their needs, fostering a sense of ownership and investment in their professional development.

The leaders didn’t just introduce the courses and step back waiting for compliance; instead, they actively engaged with participants, committed to offering guidance and encouraged their teachers every step of the way.
