What if I told you I have a secret to defeat excuses in your life and in everyone else's life too?

How to Defeat Excuses Once and For All

First we need to define what an excuse is.

An excuse is a reason or explanation offered to remove blame, forgive a fault, or free someone from an obligation.

In essence it is a reason to stop chasing excellence, and there are 2 broad categories we make excuses around.

  1. People

  2. Tasks

When we make excuses for people, we actually blame people for why our lives are challenging. We take no ownership.

When we make excuses for tasks, we blame the task, the difficulty of the task or the inconvenience of the task rather than just sucking it up and putting in the work to complete the task.

All Excuses Have 1 Thing in Common

You are the one thing that all excuses have in common. Here is the reason why. There are people worse off than you with less intelligence than you, less resources than you, and less time that are outperforming you.

The reason why is simple. You are making excuses while they're making excellence.

This week identify you excuses and start to tackle them with tenacity.

No one ever won at life by making excuses. Let's go win the day.
